What is web Application Development?

Web app development is the creation of application programs that reside on remote servers and are delivered to the user’s device over the Internet.

Web apps are sometimes contrasted with native apps, which are applications that are developed specifically for a particular platform or device and installed on that device.

The purpose of this course?

To provide a comprehensive understanding of the tools and problem-solving techniques related to building effective World Wide Web sites. It emphasis 4 components in developing web applications which are

• Client Site Technologies: HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript

• Server Site Technologies: PHP

• Database Server: MySQL.

• Web Servers : Apache
